How to correctly measure classic button-up collars?
The collar must fit the dog well, only then it will fulfil its function properly. A small collar strangles the dog, with a large one there is a risk that the dog slips out.
Therefore, pay close attention to the measurement and selection of the collar. You measure the neck circumference with a tape measure at the widest part of the neck just before the chest.
To the measured size add about 3 cm, because the collar should be so large that 2 fingers fit under it
